At some point each of Argentinian director Lucrecia Martel’s films will be posted here. I love them all, she is my favorite female filmmaker, who makes things of a profound quality of observance. This is a loose and dreamy movie, beautifully shot, about a woman who is certain she committed a crime but as she tracks backwards, she is unable to confirm or deny it.
The chasm between false memory, dream and reality widens.
